Preston Kunkle
Vigil Honor
Meet your Section Chief, Preston Kunkle! Preston is a member of Muscogee Lodge #116 in South Carolina. Previously, he has served as Section Vice Chief, Administration CVC, and Lodge Chief. Preston has also served on staff for the National Leadership Seminar, National Order of the Arrow Conference, and served a term on the Scouts BSA National Youth Council.
As Section Chief, Preston is focused on growing Conclave attendance, strengthening collaboration between lodges, and helping every Arrowman thrive. His goals include enhancing section-level training, creating spaces for lodge leaders to connect, and providing targeted support through mentors and advisers across the section. He’s also committed to using section resources to preserve and strengthen OA traditions, including ceremonies and American Indian Activities.
Preston will attend the University of South Carolina Honors College in the fall, majoring in Political Science with plans to attend law school. He looks forward to meeting as many Arrowmen as possible and hosting an unforgettable Conclave at Camp Barstow in 2026!
Section Vice Chief

Abigail Watson

Meet your Section Vice Chief, Abigail Watson! Abi is a Vigil Honor member of Itibapishe Iti Hollo Lodge #188 in North Carolina. She has previously served as Section Secretary and lodge officer of her home lodge.
As Section Vice Chief, Abi plans to focus on training within the section and its lodges, preserving AIA traditions, and building brotherhood with all Arrowmen. As the project lead for the section’s training course, she will plan and provide opportunities for the brothers of E7 to grow together in service and fellowship. Abi is excited to visit lodges and highlight the qualities that make E7 the best section in the nation!
Abi is a Music Education major at Western Carolina University where she also serves as the Fraternity Public Relations officer of Epsilon Tau Pi, the Eagle Scout service fraternity. She is excited to serve the section through another fantastic year and put on an outstanding Conclave at Camp Barstow in 2026!
Section Secretary

Madelyn Wilson

Meet your Secretary, Madelyn Wilson! Maddie currently serves as Lodge Chief of Bob White Lodge #87. Previously she has held the positions of Quest CVC, Vice Chief of Program, Chapter Chief, and Quartermaster Chairman. Maddie has also served on staff for the National Leadership Seminar and National Order of the Arrow Conference.
As Secretary, Maddie is dedicated to elevating Section communications—transforming the spark of engagement into a steady flame. From Meme Mondays and clear, concise emails to quarterly newsletters and a regularly updated website, she is focused on making Section communications both fun and functional.
This fall, Maddie will attend Anderson University to major in Christian Studies, with plans to pursue a Masters in Divinity. She looks forward to connecting with Arrowmen across the Section- both online and in person- as we prepare for another amazing Conclave!
